Traverse Area District Library

Traverse Area District Library

TADL’s Main Library promotes reading to children right from birth with their 7-weekly story time programs, 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program. An ongoing partnership is in place with Born to Read (all free to participate just like our library card). In addition, a new preschool play space in the main library combines play and learning and celebrating Up North culture.

Their vibrant Youth Services department is always buzzing with the hum of readers greeting the fish and skimming the shelves, exploring our play area, craft kits, and events. Check in on our fish anytime with FishCam!
